NovoTHOR
The clinical reference whole-body PBM device. Largely a clinic-installed unit; home availability limited.
Shop NovoTHOR ↗Grade B — Smaller RCT base than panels, but the only way to dose the entire body at clinical irradiance.
Whole-body PBM beds (NovoTHOR, Sunlighten mPulse) deliver red + near-infrared across the full body simultaneously, eliminating the dose-distance trade-off of panels. The clinical reference is NovoTHOR — the most-published whole-body PBM device in peer-reviewed literature, with trials covering pain, recovery, and inflammatory markers. Full-body longevity endpoints are still extrapolated from mechanism; the direct mortality and biological-age data of saunas does not yet exist for PBM beds.

Combines infrared sauna with red/NIR LED — not a true whole-body PBM dose but functional overlap for home users.
Shop Sunlighten ↗Coverage. A panel can deliver clinical irradiance to a small body region; a bed delivers it to the entire body simultaneously. For systemic recovery and inflammation work, that matters. For skin or single-joint targets, a panel is fine and a fraction of the cost.
The RCT base is smaller than panels, and there are no large prospective cohorts equivalent to KIHD for sauna. The mechanism extrapolation is strong; the direct long-term human data is still being built.
