Shop Power ↗Grade B — Bone density, balance, and sarcopenia signals in older adults; not a replacement for resistance training.
Whole-body vibration platforms (30–50 Hz) have RCT support for bone mineral density preservation, balance improvement, and sarcopenia-marker reduction in older adults, particularly post-menopausal women. The strength gains plateau quickly — WBV is a useful adjunct to resistance training and a meaningful intervention for adults who cannot tolerate loaded squats, but it does not replicate the hypertrophy or strength outcomes of barbell work.
